Al-Muhibbah Foundation empowered 250 rural women with start up Cash/materials who had expressed interest in starting a business of their own to enable them become self reliant. Materials include 50 Spaghetti Making Machines and 1000 bags of Sachet water to support 50 Pure water business owners.
150 Small scale entrepreneurs received N5,000 (five thousand naira each) to support their businesses.
The Al-Muhibbah Foundation Skill Acquisition Centre also started operation starting with fifty women in Sewing, Knitting, Salon services and the Computer operation to encourage the women in the area of information technology.
