Women Inclusion and Economic Empowerment Through Regenerative Home-Based Agriculture

Al-Muhibbah Foundation, in collaboration with the ACReSAL Project in Bauchi State, successfully trained and empowered 300 women under the Regenerative Agriculture Home-Based Farming Initiative. The initiative was designed to promote sustainable agriculture, strengthen household food security, and enhance women’s economic resilience through innovative home-based farming techniques. Program Overview 300 women trained in regenerative agricultural practices Hands-on training in sack farming and backyard cultivation Practical strategies for maximizing small spaces for food production Three days of intensive training, followed by a graduation and empowerment ceremony Participants gained practical skills to cultivate crops within their homes using sacks and available backyard spaces, enabling women with limited land access to actively engage in food production and income generation.
